Fairmont Spa Banff Springs and Mother Earth Essentials: A Harmonious Blend of Tradition and Tranquility

October 17, 2024

Banff, Alberta, 17 October 2024 Fairmont Spa Banff Springs proudly announces its new partnership with Mother Earth Essentials, an Indigenous-owned luxury bath and beauty brand. This collaboration introduces two new spa products alongside exciting signature experiences: the Nature’s Renewal Body Treatment and the Woodland Walk Pedicure.

Mother Earth Essentials beautifully embodies the contributions and wisdom of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, utilizing healing, natural ingredients alongside ancestral knowledge.

Founded by Carrie Armstrong, a descendant of a long line of Cree Medicine Women, Mother Earth Essentials integrates the wisdom of Indigenous traditions into modern wellness practices. For thousands of years, Indigenous Peoples have harnessed medicinal and therapeutic plant extracts to nurture body, mind, and spirit. Mother Earth Essentials draws from generations of Indigenous wisdom, inspired by Carrie’s own family teachings.

“I’m really grateful to launch custom products from Mother Earth Essentials at the beautiful Fairmont Banff Springs. This is all about celebrating wellness and culture, and it highlights how important truth and reconciliation is for supporting Indigenous businesses. It’s a big step forward for healing and partnership.” shares Carrie Armstrong, Founder of Mother Earth Essentials.

Fairmont Banff Springs is honoured to support a brand dedicated to preserving and sharing the cultural heritage and natural wisdom of Indigenous communities. The exciting collaboration underscores the resort’s commitment to connecting with the terroir of the Canadian Rockies, and working alongside Indigenous businesses to deliver one-of-a-kind experiences in its distinctive setting

“We’re thrilled to have an opportunity to partner with Carrie and her team, and excited for guests to experience these new treatments and products. The exclusive range, including a purifying Sage and Peppermint Salt Scrub, and nourishing Wintergreen and Black Spruce Massage Oil, perfectly showcase Carrie’s grounding creations.” shares Ashley Ransome, Director of Fairmont Spa, Fairmont Banff Springs.

Guests are invited to join the resort and Mother Earth Essentials in celebrating this significant partnership by experiencing these luxurious and culturally enriching spa treatments, inspiring a deeper connection to nature and the essence of well-being.
