Fairmont Banff Springs Announces the Transformation of Heritage Hall
Banff, Alberta – Fairmont Banff Springs’ Heritage Hall is set to begin an exciting new chapter. As of January 8th, 2025, Heritage Hall will undergo a transformation into “The Living Room,” an elegant and inviting space crafted for the enjoyment of resort guests. This reimagined area draws inspiration from historical photographs of the resort, creating a seamless connection between past and present.
Fairmont Banff Springs is dedicated to preserving and celebrating its rich history. To honor the legacy of Heritage Hall, historic photographs and displays, curated in collaboration with the Whyte Museum, will be thoughtfully integrated throughout the resort. By the end of June 2025, these displays will be prominently featured along the Spanish Walkway in Mount Stephen Hall and near the Family Room in the newly renovated Gatehouse public areas. Guests of the resort will also have exclusive access to the renowned Hotel History Tour, providing a unique opportunity to explore the storied past of Fairmont Banff Springs and learn about its transformation through the years.
Fairmont Banff Springs is proud to collaborate with the Whyte Museum in this endeavor. In addition to curating historic photographs and displays, the Whyte Museum will source art for “The Living Room” and contribute additional Indigenous historical photos and information for an updated Hotel History Tour. Resort guests can also enjoy complimentary admission to the Whyte Museum offering an enriching extension of their historical journey. Guests to contact the Concierge team for more details during their visit.
