Our Commitment
Fairmont Banff Springs is an award-winning steward of sustainable development, globally and locally. Surrounded by Canada’s first national park, dedication to conservation, community and conscious living run as deep as the crystalline waters of the region. From projects dedicated to waste reduction and environmental conservation to initiatives promoting diversity, Fairmont Banff Springs is intentional in its commitment to creating a better future for generations to come.
Accor's Commitment
Our passion to serve and achieve beyond limits promises to recognize the value in each person. Accor places people at the heart of what we do by fostering a culture of inclusion dedicated to the welfare of our people, our guests, and local communities. We aim to inspire authenticity, encouraging our partners and guests to affect positive change through our community-focused approach to hospitality and shared commitments to sustainability, with attention to creating healthy and sustainable food sources and carbon-neutral buildings.
Land Acknowledgement
With humility and deep respect, we acknowledge that we live and work within the present-day territories of Treaty 6, 7 and 8, as well as the Métis Homeland. The lands and waters of Banff National Park have been used for millennia by Indigenous Peoples for sustenance, ceremony, trade and travel. We thank them for their continued stewardship and for sharing this land.
SPCA
At Fairmont Banff Springs we welcome and invite pets to stay for a cause. With each pet cleaning fee, The Castle will donate $15 to our local Bow Valley SPCA, Canada’s only no-kill, no cage adoption centre.
